How to Play

The goal of the game is to be the first to get rid of your cards. Sounds easy enough, but it must be done in three stages with varying amounts of anonymity.

Let’s begin!

First, you must discard the cards that are held in your hand that nobody else can see.

Second, you’re faced with the task of discarding the cards that are down on the table, but face up for all to see. As those cards are placed in the pile in the middle…

… you must seek the fortuity of playing cards that are face down, hoping the chosen one’s value is enough to vanquish the card presented prior to your turn.

The first pirate to get rid of all his face down cards is….lucky.

The game can be played with two to six players, but there can be only one winner. However, many of us scurvy pirates have found that one hand is not enough.

We have discovered that Lucky Pirate lends itself well to Tournament style play if you are trapped on a desert island and have time to extend the fun!
